Halloween 2018 At Cyherbia Cyprus

Pumpkin Carving & Halloween event at Cyherbia October 2018

Pumpkin Carving Workshops

Before halloween weekend starts, families came dressed up to carve their spooky pumpkins! During the pumpkin carving workshops, we provided all the materials and pumpkins of all sizes. Using their creativity and fantasy, children and adults alike carved some amazing pumpkins. The Pumpkin Carving workshop is a great opportunity for the whole family to take part in to experience something different. During the first stage of carving a pumpkin, you need to carve out the pumpkin’s insides, or ‘brains’. Carvers empty the insides of their pumpkin inside the buckets we provide. Keep in mind that the insides of the pumpkin can be used at home to make pumpkin soup with, to roast the seeds or make delicious muffins. We encourage carvers to take their bag with pumpkin remains home to avoid waste. After the workshop, people took part in many activities around the park. Activities included a quest in the herb gardens, going on a scavenger hunt in the big maze and solving CSI crime scenes in the woodland. Afterwards, visitors tasted their complimentary cup of herbal Witch Brew tea. Freshly baked cakes and muffins, as well as delicious lunch meals are always available in our tea room for you to enjoy.

Halloween event 2018

Can you think of a better way to celebrate Halloween in Cyprus? Every year the halloween weekend at Cyherbia, we make sure to make our favourite holiday as big and fantastic as possible! The herb gardens, maze, woodland and witch cottage are all spookified with amazing decorations. With the right atmosphere and plenty of activities we make this an all-day event for every family to enjoy. Of course you should come dressed up!

At the present time of 2018, the Halloween event had a special theme: Greek Mythology. Visitors travel back in time to Ancient Greece, where they find themselves at the mercy of the gods. Every visitor’s challenge was to enter the Maze and receive the mark of the Minotaur, help Odysseus defeat the Cyclops in the woodland and get out of Hades alive. Among the many adventures, interactive storytelling in English and Greek gathered children of all nationalities.
As always, we had “Best Costume Competition” both for adults and children for a chance to win a surprise gift!
